Audrey "AJ" Parks was born in the small town of Ashville, Alabama. She grew up outdoors and learned to love nature at an early age. After attending college, she began her career as a nature writer and outdoor editor. he has since authored several books on hiking, camping, and backpacking. She is considered one of the top experts on all things outdoors.
When she's not writing or spending time outdoors, she enjoys working on environmental projects.
